If you are a student in Mrs. Immonen's class, this blog is for you.  


To earn some extra credit points in science class this is what you'll need to do.  Please do not sign in with your real name, we want to keep your identity safe, so use your secure name that we decided to blog with in class.


To earn the extra credit: 
Find a website that has interesting information about the moon.  It can have a video, pictures, and/or information.  Leave the name of the website in your comment and tell me what information I can find from visiting the website.

In this website you can find an animation of the lunar phases.  There is even an interactive quiz on this site.  I think it is a good website to use to find out general information about the moon, but it is not kid friendly

The website I visted was called http://www.kidsastronomy.com there is many games, activities, and information about the moon. As you do these activities you will learn more and more. There is also a quiz to take, So you can see how much you learned. This website is fun and educational.

This website had some interesting facts about the moon. This website had Top 10 Cool Moon Facts. I found some interesting things that I did not know about the moon.

This website has fact about the moon like how olf the moon is or how long it takes for the moon to orbit the Earth. Also it has a calander that shows the phase of the moon for 2010. It has tips for watching the moon. Lastly it shows what the name of each phase is. That is what is on the website. You should check it out! :D

www.space.com/moon/ is a very good website because it ha salot about the moon. It tells you about the craters, a satellite and planets. It also has top ten coolest moon things and top ten lunar terms.I also found a website called http://www.moon.org/facts/interesting_moon_facts.html or you can just type in moon.org and it will get you to the same place and it shows you images,
facts + videos, and news.

Mrs. Kady I came up with this website when we were doing the moon phases.The website is http://aa.usno.mil/index.php Its a really exciting website. You could check the moon phases, you could look up information about the moon, you could see photos of the moon too.Their is tons of fun facts you could learn about. So if you want go look it up online.

Hi Mrs.Kady.This is flowers17. I had just cheaked out an awsome website about the moon. It is called http://www.enchantinglearning.com/subjects/astronomy/moom/Moonweblinks.shtml. This website talks about the moon,what it looks like,what it is made out of,and many more cool things. At the top of the website you can click on something that says genara discription. That will tell you what the moon is in genral.So if you would like to you could go look it up!

The website that I that visited is called http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subject/astronomy/moon/. This website has a ton of imformation about the moon. It also has lots of games, activites, and quizs. There are alot of pictures of the moon too. I hope you like the website!
